Online Safety Information session for parents – 8 May 2024
There have been several incidents recently involving social media and group chats that have caused upset and distress amongst the children, particularly in Years 5 and 6.
There is an opportunity for you, as parents, to have an update on online safety and advice as to how to keep children safe online when they are using social media.
We will send a link out one week before the session. Please take the time to read the attached flyer.

News from the parish: Worship and Holy Communion at St Luke’s this Sunday
We would like to invite children and their families to come along to St Luke’s Church this Sunday 28th April, for a special service of faith and worship. The service will start at 1100am and finish with refreshments at noon.
The whole essence of the service is ‘faith and worship’, where all the hymns and readings have been chosen by members of the congregation. There will also be an Act of Holy Communion, which we hope will help children to gain greater insight into how we commemorate Jesus and seek to follow his example in our daily lives.
Children will be invited to come up to help the congregation to sing the action song “This Little Light of Mine”, or remain in the pews to sing along from there.
There will also be colouring activities including little butterflies, based at the red activity table to the side of the pews, with children welcome to take the butterflies into the pews to sit with their families if they would like to do so. This continues our theme of worship and praise.
There is also a range of toys and books for younger children to play with too.
We hope to see children and families join with us on Sunday.
