Parish News
This Sunday 12th March is Family Service at St. Luke’s, which starts at 11a.m.
Reverend Okeke is leading the service, for which the reading is John 4: 5-42. We will hear about how Jesus met a Samaritan woman at the well and talked with her about living water.
An activity table for children will be within the church during the service, at which children will be invited to sit to colour in flowers and water vases of the type that the Samaritan woman would have used.
We will also be singing “The Lord’s My Shepherd”, as we think about Jesus leading us by quiet waters, and as we look forward to spring.
We hope that children from the school may join us.
We are also looking forward to a special service on Mothering Sunday, 19th March. This will be in the hall at the school, 4.30pm -5.30pm, with activities and singing, and a break for biscuits and juice. We are hoping that people who have been out during the day will be able to pop in as a lovely end to their weekend.
We welcome all families and all ages to the service, with more details to follow next week.
