World Book Day – 7 March 2024

To show our love of reading at Coalbrookdale, we will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 7 March 2024. During the day, each class will be taking part in reading and fun book inspired activities. Dressing up as your favourite story character or author is encouraged and prizes for a fantastic costume can be won. Let’s celebrate reading with a fun filled day!

🌼 🐰 Easter Fair – 15 March 2024 🌼 🐰

This year’s Easter Fair will be held on Friday 15th March 2024 🐰4pm-5.30pm 🐰

If you would like a stall at the Fair please speak to one of the Friend’s (Jen, Ruth or Carolyn) or the office. We ask for a £20 donation.

If you are able to help out please let us know ☺️

We will be having a mufti day on Friday 15th March, children can wear non-uniform in return for an Easter Egg which will be used for the Easter Egg tombola 🥚🥚🥚

We will be holding an Easter Bonnet competition at the Fair – entries are free and there will be a prize for the best Bonnet 👍

School Dinner price

Telford & Wrekin Catering have advised us that the cost of a school dinner will increase to £2.60 from 1 April 2024 for children in Years 3 – 6.

Regular lateness can have a negative impact on learning which can be seen below.

Ensuring that children receive full-time education is a legal requirement for all parents. Getting your child to school regularly and on time will help them fulfil their potential. We want Coalbrookdale’s children to be happy and successful. Community News – Great British Spring Clean Community Litter Pick

Saturday 23 March meeting at Dale End Car Park at 2pm. Finish at 3pm.

 

We won’t just be collecting litter, we’ll be separating out plastics, glass and tins for recycling.  Bags and a limited number of litter pickers provided. Gloves recommended.  Contact Councillor Carolyn Healy for more information – carolyn.healy@telford.gov.uk
