Message from Mrs Dhaliwal
Dear Parents and Carers
As we come to the end of the term, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you all for your ongoing support and partnership this year.
The children looked absolutely amazing in their Christmas costumes today, and it has been wonderful to see them enjoying so much festive fun! A special thank you to everyone who generously donated to our Rudolph Relay. The children did a brilliant job running their laps, and it was a delight to see them embracing the festive spirit while raising funds for Severn Hospice—a truly fantastic cause and another opportunity for our school community to show our values of ‘Responsibility’ and ‘Compassion’ in action.
We also say goodbye to three valued members of staff: Miss Dillon, Ms McMullan, and Mrs Fellows. We thank them for their hard work and dedication to our school and wish them all the very best for the future. At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Mr. Johnson, who will be joining Year 6. He is excited to become part of our school community, and we look forward to seeing him settle into his new role.
Finally, I wish you all a happy, safe, and joyful Christmas.
We look forward to welcoming you and the children back in the new year (Tuesday 7th January 2024), refreshed and ready for another exciting term ahead.
With warmest wishes
Mrs M Dhaliwal

Eco Council – December 2024
News from the Parish
This Sunday 22nd December, there will be a service of Holy Communion, starting at 11:00am, at St Luke’s in Ironbridge.
St Luke’s would like to welcome children and families of the school, and their friends, to this service. In our Jesus and Me (JAM) activity for school age children, we will be busy with our special preparations for our Crib Service, to be held at 5pm on Christmas Eve.
This will include thinking about the reading from Luke 1:39-45 (46-55), in which we hear about Mary visiting her cousin Elizabeth, and praising God for his wonderful works.
We will be seated in the children’s area amongst the many beautiful trees decorated for the Christmas Tree Walk.
As well as this activity, we will also be making Christmas cards for a loved one. There are also books and toys available for younger children to play with in the church.
We hope to see children and their families there, and to share refreshments after the service has finished.
Could we also say best wishes from everyone at our three churches of Holy Trinity, St Lawrence and St Luke’s, to all at the school. We look forward to welcoming children and their families in 2025, whether that is in our churches or through our outreach activities.
