Message from Mrs Dhaliwal

It has been another busy and exciting week in school, with lots of opportunities for children to learn beyond the classroom. Thank you, as always, for your continued support in helping make these experiences possible.

Careers Week

A huge thank you to all the parents who kindly gave their time to support our Careers Week. We were delighted to welcome a range of visitors into school including a doctor, vet, banker, machinist, hairdresser and an RAF cadet.

The children really enjoyed hearing about the different career journeys and learning about the skills and qualities needed for each profession. It was wonderful to see how engaged the children were and to hear them talking about their own aspirations for the future.

Reception Transport Visit

Reception had a fantastic time on Thursday during their transport visit where they had the exciting opportunity to travel on a bus, coach and train. Experiences like this help to bring learning to life and support children in embedding their understanding through real-life experiences.

Thank you to the parent volunteers who gave their time to help make this trip possible.

Sporting Events

We have also had a busy week of sporting events, including a Key Stage 1 football competition and a Year 3/4 football competition. The children represented the school brilliantly, showing teamwork, determination and great sportsmanship.

Thank you again to the parents who supported these events and helped make them such positive experiences for our children.

Looking Ahead

We have another busy week ahead. On Monday, our Year 4 children will be heading off to the Pioneer Centre for their residential trip which we know will be a fantastic experience full of adventure, teamwork and new challenges.

Please remember to check the school calendar for updates and upcoming events.

Wishing you all a lovely and restful weekend and we look forward to welcoming the children back on Monday for another great week of learning.
