Message from Mrs Dhaliwal
Although this first week back has involved a snow day, we hope you have all stayed safe and well. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. We know unexpected closures can be challenging for families. Teachers shared some light learning activities on Seesaw to support children at home, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back into school as soon as conditions allow and settling back into our routines together.
As we move into the half term ahead, please take a moment to look at the diary dates in this newsletter so you are aware of upcoming events. Your child will also have brought home their Half Termly Overview detailing their upcoming learning for the half term, along with details of their weekly homework, to help support learning at home.
Reading together at home continues to make a huge difference. Even just 10 minutes a day helps to build confidence, fluency and a love of reading and we are very grateful for the support you give your child in this.
This half term, our school value focus is Respect. We will be encouraging children to show respect for themselves, for others and for our school community and we look forward to working in partnership with you to reinforce this at home and at school.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. It is very much appreciated. We look forward to a busy and exciting term ahead.
Mrs M Dhaliwal
