A Busy and Enriching Term
As we head into the final week of term, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly busy and successful few weeks here at Coalbrookdale. We are so proud of everything the children have achieved, and we still have lots of exciting things planned for the final days of term!
This term, we’ve had the opportunity to enrich the children’s learning through a range of engaging trips and experiences:
- Reception visited the farm on Monday, bringing their learning about animals to life.
- Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Coalport China Museum on Thursday, supporting their topic on the Coalport Ferry Disaster.
- Next week, we’re excited to welcome the Freshwater Theatre Company to school.
- They will be working with Year 1 on their learning about significant people from the past,
- Year 2 will focus on Explorers,
- and Year 6 will dive deeper into their topic on the Ancient Greeks.
We can’t wait to share photographs from these immersive sessions with you!
- On Monday, Year 4 will visit Holy Trinity Church to deepen their understanding of Easter and prepare to lead the whole school Easter service on Wednesday.
- Also on Tuesday afternoon, Year 3 will be visited by the Tile Museum, helping bring their learning about the Romans to life.
We are incredibly grateful to all of our parents and carers who have contributed towards the cost of these experiences. Your support helps us to continue providing exciting opportunities that enhance and enrich the children’s curriculum.
We also look forward to welcoming parents, carers and families to Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday as Year 4 lead the school in our Easter Service – a special moment in our school calendar to come together and reflect.
Thank you once again for your continued support.
