Message from Mr Wheeler

Dear Parents and Guardians

As we approach the end of the academic year, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and dedication to Coalbrookdale & Ironbridge C.E. Primary School. Your involvement and encouragement have been instrumental in the progress we have made together as a school community.

Throughout the past year, we have achieved significant milestones, both academically and in fostering a nurturing environment for our students. From implementing innovative teaching methods to enhancing our extra-curricular offer, our collective efforts have laid a strong foundation for continued improvement. We are committed to building on this momentum and striving for even greater success in the coming year.

We will also bid a fond farewell to Mr. Conail Rutherford, as he embarks on a new chapter of his life. The school community wish to express our deepest gratitude for over 20 years of dedicated service at Coalbrookdale & Ironbridge C.E. Primary School, showing unwavering commitment and multifaceted contributions to our school community – touching the lives of so many and creating a lasting impact on students, colleagues, and parents alike. I hope you will join me in saying that his presence will be profoundly missed, but his contributions will always be remembered and cherished.

As we embark on the summer break, I wish you all a peaceful and restful time filled with joyful experiences and cherished moments with your families. Your support and partnership are invaluable, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in September, refreshed and ready for another year of growth and learning.

Warm regards

Adam Wheeler

I have been teaching instrumental music lessons at Coalbrookdale Primary School since 2003. I am a private teacher and have been teaching music for 37 years.

I teach piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, singing and guitar. All of my lessons are taught on a one to one basis. Students who take lessons have the opportunity to sit graded music exams, when they are ready to and if they want to do so.

Lessons with myself are around 1/3 less in price than the lesson equivalent with Telford & Wrekin music services.

Weekly individual lessons from September will be:  15 minutes – £9.00 / 30 minutes – £17.00

I teach all years from Reception to Year 6 and beyond.  Please call me on 07816958048 or contact the school to reserve a weekly slot for your child.  Lesson slots are allocated on a first come first served basis. I am sometimes able to loan instruments, free of charge whilst taking lessons.
