Mobile Phones and Smart Devices – Reminder

We would like to take this opportunity to remind all families of our Mobile Phones and Smart Devices Policy which is available in full on our school website.

At Coalbrookdale & Ironbridge C.E. Primary School, we operate a phone-free school day to ensure a calm, safe and focused learning environment for all children.

– Pupils should not bring mobile phones or smart devices into school.
– If a phone is required for travel safety, it must be switched off and handed in to the school office on arrival, where it will be stored securely and collected at the end of the day.
– Smartwatches with messaging or camera functions are not permitted and must not be worn in school.
– If a device is seen, heard or used on site, it will be confiscated and returned to a parent/carer.

We also kindly remind parents not to contact children directly during the school day. If you need to get a message to your child, please contact the school office and we will ensure this is passed on promptly.

This approach supports safeguarding, reduces distractions and helps create a positive environment where all children can focus on their learning.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain these high standards.
