We are delighted to share that Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge CE Primary School has been awarded the Gold School Games Mark Award for our commitment and engagement in the School Games for 2024/25.
A huge thank you goes to Mrs. Marshall, who leads PE in our school and has been instrumental in achieving this award. Her dedication and enthusiasm have provided children with fantastic opportunities to take part in a wide range of sports and competitions.
Our children are incredibly proud of this achievement. Here’s what some of them had to say:

“The athletics competition was so much fun. I pushed myself to run faster than I thought I could.”
“I enjoy trying new sports at school, like dodgeball and netball. It’s exciting to represent our school.”
We are so proud of the children’s effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship, which shine through in every event. This award is a reflection of their hard work and the support of our staff and wider school community.
